Even though Essaouira is a coastal town, there are hundreds of reasons to plan a poolday while on holiday in our charming Medina.  Nothing more relaxing then lying on one of these soft daybeds with a drink and a glossy magazine or this book that you were dying to read for a while already.

And when things get hot, take a dive in the pool, just before having a refreshing cocktail and a delicious lunch….

Essaouira
Just outside Essaouira at a distance you can either walk or take a petit taxi. Good food and a nice place to spend time when you like art, a little glamour and a wonderful garden.

Douar Al Arabe
To go there you need transport but it is well worth making the trip especially if you are a family with kids. There is a small animal farm around with goats, chickens and other small animals. The place is in the middle of a wonderful Argan forest.

Diabat
If you are a Boho chic type then this is your spot. Stunning views from the hills on the ocean. A fantastic place to chill and have cocktails at the sunset bar.

Ida Ougourd
This place breaths Italy! The surrounding countryside with the olive trees reminds one of Tuscany and the house itself with its ochre tones is taking you on a mini holiday to the south of Europe. A perfect trip on Wednesdays when combined with the Berber market in Ida Ougourd.

All places are best booked in advance and shuttle service can be organized.
Some have a fixed fee including lunch and transport. Others are a la carte with free use of the pool.
